岳父，患所谓“心脏病”十来年，时常胸闷、憋气，睡觉时不能仰面睡，爱打呼噜，甚至在睡时会突然憋醒，有过心脏杂音、间歇史，劳累、生气、精神不好时憋闷现象更严重。多次经西医诊断为“心脏病”，常吃复方丹参片、阿斯匹林、硝酸异山梨脂片，服后症状似稍有缓解，但不能停药。西医也告知无其他办法，只能常年吃药。后来增加尿频、尿不尽症状，小便时有胀、疼感，西医诊为前列腺病，又加吃一种西药。因笔者只相信中医，且已请医易堂先生治愈几个亲属的病，遂游说岳父改中医治疗。开始其并不相信，多次劝说后才同意试试。
经医易堂先生问诊，认为岳父并非心脏病，而是胸有痰饮，压迫心脏所致。开药起手便是“XXX”峻剂，并提前说好服药后会大吐泻。可叹“XXX”中的所谓“毒药”由于少有人会用，找了好长时间才找到。服后果如大师所料，大泻一天，到晚上胸闷憋气症状立即消失，平躺睡无任何问题，呼噜声也不再，甚至小便症状也改变许多。后经大师开药调养半月余，诸症全消，深叹中医疗效之速，而愈恨西医之无能且害人。
